School talk success

Share

Did you know, our donor recruitment team run a school talk programme?

Over the course of the year, we aim to speak to as many 17 year olds as possible. Last year, we visited 130 schools, and 2,023 of the sixth year students followed up our talk by giving blood for the very first time.

We are delighted to have recruited so many new blood donors and look forward to welcoming you back in the near future, at your local donor centre or community session - or even at your work, college or university.

Thank you to all our new donors, and to school staff for supporting the educational blood donation programme.
