Group O & Group A Blood Donors

You may have seen requests for Group O Donors to come forward on the news today or over the weekend.

NHS Blood and Transplant in England need O Positive and O Negative blood donors to urgently book appointments to boost stocks of O type blood following the cyber incident in London.

Here in Scotland, whilst we are not impacted by the cyber incident, we are asking O Positive, O Negative and A Positive donors to come forward and make an extra special effort to donate at this time. Stocks of these groups have been lower than we’d like, and we want to make sure they are at optimum levels in the coming weeks.

Our Donor Centres in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness have plenty appointments available. Please help by booking your appointment now.  Thank you.
