Workplace Heroes: Teams roll up their sleeves to Give Blood across Edinburgh
As part of National Blood Donor Week, colleagues from Aberdeen Group PLC made a lifesaving difference by giving blood on Thursday 12th June.
With fantastic support from their employer, staff at the Edinburgh site were given time during the working day to donate blood at a session held on-site. In addition, generous colleagues from George Street made their way to the Edinburgh Donor Centre to take part.
With each donation helping to save or improve the lives of up to 3 people, Aberdeen Group have had a positive impact on up to 108 patients in Scotland!
This brilliant show of workplace support highlights the power of corporate volunteering and the incredible impact businesses can have on our national blood supply.
