Gwen Fenton, Donor Recruitment Officer for Dundee, said: "During summer 2021, we would like to encourage the community of Angus, Tayside, Fife and Perthshire to help us and book an appointment to give blood. Hospitals are currently very busy with elective surgery and 24% of the blood collected is used for surgical procedures. We aim to retain six days of stock at any time to meet the requirements of Patients in Scotland. If you can spare an hour of your time this summer, we'd love to see you.
