#GiveBeforeYouGo - Jags fans support 'Yes Sir I'm A Donor' campaign

Share

'Yes Sir, I’m A Donor' was the loud and proud message of dozens of Germany-bound Partick Thistle fans as they gathered at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill for a special #GiveBeforeYouGo event.

Scottish football fans are being urged to give blood before they go to the Euros, to make sure blood donations don't drop as an estimated 200,000 Scotland fans head to Germany. The call to action to supporters is clear – make an appointment to give blood and #GiveBeforeYouGo

It’s such an important campaign and one I am fully behind Brian Graham, Partick Thistle mens team captain and womens team manager

The call to action to football fans is clear – you can #GiveBeforeYouGo by visiting www.scotblood.co.uk (or calling 0345 90 90 999) to make an appointment.

Among the Germany-bound Jags backing the campaign on Monday night was Thistle men’s team captain and women's team manager Brian Graham, accompanied by son Daniel, who said: 'It's such an important campaign and one I am fully behind. We heard on the night that every time you give blood you could save or improve the lives of up to three people, so I'd encourage as many of the red and yellow army as possible to give before they go and make that important difference to help others.'

The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service would like to thank Brian, Daniel and all the Thistle fans for attending – we cannot wait to see your selfies!

Vielen Dank to all the Partick Thistle fans who came to the event!
