Aberdeen Blood Donor Centre remains open through building work

Share

Due to the new site preparations for the Baird Family Hospital and new ANCHOR Centre, there will be a number of disruptions around Aberdeen Royal Infirmary - however, Aberdeen Blood Donor Centre will remain open.

The proposed start date for the roadworks is Tuesday 1 February and will continue until Spring 2022.

What does this mean for donors?

  • Aberdeen Blood Donor Centre will remain open during this period
  • Donors are still welcome to use the Aberdeen Blood Donor Centre car park (this can be done by entering Foresterhill Road from the Ashgrove Road West entrance and using the loop road down to the donor centre)
  • Donors are also able to park in the Lady Helen multi-story car park opposite Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and walk down to the centre
  • Donors are advised to give themselves extra time to accommodate difficulty in being able to park their vehicles
