Erwin travelled 11,000 miles to give platelets

A recent survey told us that 90% of our donors donate within a ten mile radius of their home address. Well, Glasgow platelet donor Erwin Losekoot certainly goes the 'extra mile' - the extra 11,000 miles to be exact! 

Erwin, originally from Dumbarton was a regular at Glasgow Donor Centre before moving to work in Auckland, New Zealand a couple of years ago. Home this Christmas to visit family he caught up with some of his old friends at the Glasgow Donor Centre when he dropped in to donate.
