Nurse Jim Henderson, physiotherapy assistant Moira Beedie and building supervisor Murray Paton, were recently presented with awards from SNBTS to mark their continued dedication to giving blood. Having donated an impressive 175 units of blood between them, the trio are now keen to encourage colleagues at Stracathro Hospital to follow their wonderful example and become blood donors. Murray said, "I think I can speak on behalf of Jim and Moira when I say giving blood is a simple thing to do. It doesn't take long and it is good to know that such a small voluntary act can help save a life." Thank you so much to Jim, Moira and Murray. We really appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming your colleagues along to give blood soon. Keep up the good work! Find out what happens when you give blood.
