Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 • Open your Internet Explorer web browser • Choose the drop down menu at the top of the window of the browser marked "Tools" • A list of options will appear in the drop down menu, choose "Internet Options .." • The "Internet Options" window opens. From the tabs along the top, click "Security" • Select the "Internet" zone icon (a globe) and in the box marked "Security level for this zone" click the button "Custom Level .." • The "Security Settings" window opens. Scroll down to "Scripting" and "Active Scripting" • There are 3 radio buttons labelled "Enable", "Disable" and "Prompt". Click "Enable" to turn on Javascript, or "Disable" to turn off Javascript • Click Ok to close the "Security Settings" window • Click Ok to close the "Internet Options" window • Refresh the page to allow the new settings to take effect Mozilla Firefox 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 • Open your Firefox browser • Choose the drop down menu at the top of the window of the browser marked "Tools" • A list of options will appear in the drop down menu, choose "Options .." • The "Options" window opens. Select the "Security" icon (a padlock) • To turn on Javascript, tick the box marked "Enable JavaScript" • Click the X in the top right-hand corner to close the "Preferences" window • Refresh the page to allow the new settings to take effect
